Terms of use

These terms govern use of https://lakeozarksdockandlift.com. They were last updated on 2026-10-22.

Lake Ozarks Dock & Lift is operated by Blake Reitnauer as a referral service. It is not a dock builder, not an Ameren-certified dock builder, and not affiliated with Ameren Missouri. Requests are referred to one independent Ameren-certified dock builder, not to a list of contractors.

The service

Lake Ozarks Dock & Lift is operated by Blake Reitnauer. The site publishes information about boat docks and boat lifts at Lake of the Ozarks and collects quote requests. Sending a request does not hire a contractor. It asks us to share the request with one independent Ameren-certified dock builder, under the consent on the form and the privacy policy.

We are not a dock builder, not an Ameren-certified dock builder, and not an agent of Ameren Missouri. We do not use Ameren’s marks as our own. “Ameren” is used to describe Ameren’s shoreline rules.

There is no charge to submit the form. A contract, if you sign one, is between you and the builder. We do not control the builder’s price, schedule, workmanship, or insurance.

Information on this site

Permit fees, dimensions, and inspection rules are taken from Ameren Missouri’s public permitting page, dock requirements page, and Appendix B to the permitting guidelines. Each guide names the document and the date we checked it. Ameren can change a fee or a drawing requirement without notice to us. If a page and Ameren’s PDF disagree, Ameren’s PDF controls.

Cost ranges credited to other websites are those publishers’ figures. They are not offers from us. Where we do not have a sourced number, we do not invent one.

Nothing on the site is legal advice, engineering advice, or a determination that your dock will be permitted. A professional engineer’s seal, when Ameren requires one, comes from an engineer, not from an article.

Your request

You agree that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to ask about work at that property, and that you have the right to share any photo you attach. You will not use the form to send someone else’s phone number as a prank, to advertise your own business, or to probe the site.

We may reject or drop a submission that looks like spam, including submissions that fill the hidden field, arrive too fast to be a person, or repeat from the same network. We may also fail to deliver a submission if email is not configured. The thank-you page tells you whether delivery was confirmed.

No guarantee of a response

A builder may decline a project, may be booked, or may not yet be under agreement. We do not guarantee a return call, a site visit, a permit, or a start date. If no builder is named in the site configuration, your request is held for a single referral rather than sent to a list.

Calls and texts

The consent box is the written permission for the referral and for the builder to call, text, or email you about that request. It is not permission for unrelated marketing campaigns. Consent is not required to buy anything from a builder, because we are not selling you the dock. It is required to use this form, because the form’s only purpose is the share.

Intellectual property

The text and the layout of this site belong to the operator. Ameren’s rules remain Ameren’s. You may link to a page. You may not copy the site and present it as a dock builder.

Disclaimer and limit of liability

The site is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Blake Reitnauer is not liable for a builder’s work, for Ameren’s permit decision, for a drawing error in a guide, or for a request that is delayed or lost in email. If a disclaimer like this is not enforceable for a particular claim, the liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service. Submitting the form is free, so that amount is zero. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, including any liability that cannot be waived.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that are not required to be in a particular court may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.

Changes

The date on this page changes when the terms change. Continued use of the site after that date is acceptance of the new terms. The consent sentence is versioned separately and is stored with each request.
