Lake Ozarks Dock & Lift is a referral service run by Blake Reitnauer. Homeowners use it to describe a boat lift, a new dock, a repair, a refoam, a cover, a move, or a permit question at Lake of the Ozarks. We send that description to one dock builder who is certified by Ameren Missouri. We do not design the dock, pull the permit, or employ the crew.
The steps
- You tell us the project, the boat or the dock, the cove or mile marker, the timing, and how to reach you. Photos are optional.
- You check a consent box. It is not pre-checked. The current wording is the consent on the quote form.
- We deliver the request by email to the operator’s inbox and, when it is configured, to a private spreadsheet. When a builder agreement is in place, that is who the request is for.
- The builder decides whether they can do the work and contacts you. Their schedule is theirs. We do not promise a same-day call.
Until a builder’s name is entered in this site’s settings, the consent names “one independent Ameren-certified dock builder” rather than a company. The request is still not blasted to every name on Ameren’s list.
What we are not
- Not a dock builder, and not the holder of an Ameren certified-dock-builder number.
- Not affiliated with Ameren Missouri. Ameren’s name appears here only because Ameren writes the shoreline rules. We do not use Ameren’s logo.
- Not a party to your contract. A bid, a start date, and a warranty come from the builder.
- Not a law firm or an engineering office. The permit pages are readings of public Ameren documents, dated on each page.
- Not a Google Business Profile. A referral site does not have a staffed storefront, and we do not publish a fake address.
What a complete request looks like
Builders can price faster when they know the boat length, the number of wells, whether foam is failing, and where the dock sits. “Lake Ozark, need a dock” is a real request and a vague one. The form is organized so the vague version is harder to send by accident. You can still choose “not sure” on the questions that deserve it.
The phone number
The number on this site is a single tracked line so calls and form requests can be counted together. It is configured in one place. Until a call-tracking service is connected, the number you see is a placeholder and may not ring a builder. The form is the reliable path. If you do call, say you came from Lake Ozarks Dock & Lift so the referral is clear.
