Sunrise Beach sits on the west side, where the Gravois Arm opens toward the main lake. Docks here range from cove slips that feel sheltered to lots that take main-lake boat traffic near the mouth. That difference changes anchors and flotation more than it changes Ameren’s fee. The fee is still $550 for a new dock or a modification. The location is what you have to describe.
Tell the builder which Sunrise Beach
“Sunrise Beach” plus “mouth of the Gravois” is a different job from “Sunrise Beach” plus a back cove. Use the Gravois arm page for the cove and channel limits, then put the cove name on the form. If you know the mile marker, add it. Markers count upstream from Bagnell Dam.
Pontoon lifts are a common request on this side of the lake. A lift still has to live on a permitted dock. Start with boat lifts and the sizing guide if you are matching a new pontoon to an old slip.
Sales
The Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District is on Ameren’s transfer-inspection list. A buyer needs an electrical approval dated within the previous 12 months, then a $100 permit transfer that keeps the permit number on the parcel. The buying guide is the sequence. If the dock is also listing or showing foam, add a refoam note. The transfer does not replace the floats.
New docks
If the lot is empty, the drawings Ameren wants are the same as everywhere else: to scale, on letter-size paper, with distances to the neighbors and to the center of the cove. Narrow coves hit the one-third rule quickly. Read the limits on the size page before you sketch a 100-foot dock in a 200-foot cove.
